By using ClearLane’s website and calculators you agree to these terms.
Estimates only
Costs shown are estimates, worked out from current rates, exchange rates and the information you enter. They are not a quote, an offer or a contract. Final freight, charges, duty, GST and levies depend on the actual shipment, the customs entry and the rates in force when it ships, and may be higher or lower. A freight forwarder’s or broker’s written quote is the price that applies.
Your information
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter or upload. Product classification and duty rates depend on the exact goods and tariff code, which a licensed customs broker confirms. The calculators are not tax, legal, customs or insurance advice.
Third-party listings and documents
Where you give us a product listing (for example from Alibaba) or a supplier document, we read it to fill in the calculator. We do not guarantee that it is accurate or complete and we are not affiliated with the supplier or marketplace.
Insurance
Insurance prices on this site are examples only and are not an offer of cover. Cover is arranged separately and subject to the insurer’s terms.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, ClearLane is not liable for losses arising from reliance on an estimate. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under New Zealand law that cannot be excluded.
Use of the site
Please do not misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, or use automated tools to extract data from it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by New Zealand law and the courts of New Zealand.
